What is ReportIt? 

ReportIt is provided to you because your local law enforcement agency wants you prepared for a theft or loss. It’s a proactive tool that allows you to catalog information about your valuables easily. Being prepared includes having serial numbers, owner-applied numbers, photos of the property, and scans of receipts. It’s completely internet-based, so you never have to worry about losing your saved data.

How much does ReportIt cost? 

ReportIt is free and available to residents in the jurisdictions LeadsOnline serves. Each account may store up to 100 items. If you need additional storage, email us at citizen@leadsonline.com. Corporate and small business accounts are available upon request.

Why should I use ReportIt? 

ReportIt’s the smart thing to do. Nobody expects to be the victim of property crime, but if it does happen, you’ll need to be able to provide the information to law enforcement and your insurance provider.

Is ReportIt secure? 

The short answer is yes. But if you want the details, here they are… The information is password-protected and accessed via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) network connection, the same type as when you access your bank account online. The information you enter is protected by the same high-level security measures that financial institutions and government agencies use.

What type of property should I keep track of in ReportIt? 

Anything of value – think about collectibles, jewelry, electronics, machinery, lawn equipment, and even designer clothes and handbags.

Are the police able to search the information I store in ReportIt? 

No, your information can only be accessed using your username and password. Should your property go missing, you can print the information from any computer with internet access and give it to your detective.
